What to Expect

Tyler's Justice Center for Children is designed to be a warm and comforting environment. Upon arrival, our staff will help you get settled in our waiting area, which is set up like a living room. Non-offending family members are welcome, but may not be with the child during the interview process.

Our Facility

Tyler's is designed to be "kid-friendly" and minimize the stress on the child. The entire process was developed to gather the most accurate information without contributing to the child's trauma. Each interview is conducted in a developmentally appropriate manner, in a non-threatening environment.

The interview room is designed as a child-friendly place to minimize the stress on the child and allow the interviewer to gather information regarding the child's experience.  The interview proceeds at the child's pace in a non-threatening and developmentally appropriate manner.
